Stewart Friesen scores Short Track Super Series North win at Fonda Speedway

Stewart Friesen won the 50 lap Short Track Super Series North Firecracker 50 at the Fonda Speedway on Wednesday. This was Stewart's thirteenth win of the season, fouth at Fonda Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series North win of the season. For the 41 year old Friesen it was their ninety-ninth win putting him first on the Fonda Speedway win list since 1991.
Finishing 2.6720 seconds behind in second was Matt Sheppard. This was Matt's twenty-second Top 5 of the season, second at Fonda Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series North Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Alex Yankowski, their twenty-second top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Michael Trautschold, their first top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Chris Raabe, their eleventh top 5 of the year.
Jack Lehner, Cody Clark, Bobby Hackel IV, David Hebert, and Brian Calabrese rounded out the top 10.
