Stewart Friesen grabs Short Track Super Series checkers at Delaware International Speedway





Stewart Friesen won the 50 lap Short Track Super Series Diamond State 50 at the Delaware International Speedway on Tuesday. This was Stewart's ninth win of the season, first at Delaware International Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series win of the season. For the 37 year old Friesen it was their third win putting him twenty-sixth on the Delaware International Speedway win list since 2002.
Finishing 1.7630 seconds behind in second was Matt Sheppard. This was Matt's eighth Top 5 of the season, first at Delaware International Speedway this year, and third Short Track Super Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Mike Mahaney, their eighth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Anthony Perrego, their seventh top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Craig VonDohren, their sixth top 5 of the year.
Billy Pauch Jr., Ryan Godown, Mike Gular, Tyler Dippel, and Dominick Buffalino rounded out the top 10.
