Matt Sheppard soars to Short Track Super Series Elite win at Fonda Speedway

Matt Sheppard won the 200 lap Short Track Super Series Elite Fonda 200 at the Fonda Speedway on Saturday. This was Matt's thirty-fouth win of the season, first at Fonda Speedway this year, and second Short Track Super Series Elite win of the season. For the 40 year old Sheppard it was their fifth win putting him twenty-first on the Fonda Speedway win list since 2000.
Finishing 0.4600 seconds behind in second was Anthony Perrego. This was Anthony's twenty-eighth Top 5 of the season, first at Fonda Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series Elite Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Mike Mahaney, their twenty-third top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Danny Varin, their fifth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Marc Johnson, their twenty-third top 5 of the year.
Billy Decker, Andy Bachetti, Jessica Friesen, Max McLaughlin, and Brian Gleason rounded out the top 10.
