Stewart Friesen won the 200 lap Short Track Super Series Elite Fonda 200 at the Fonda Speedway on Saturday. This was Stewart's eighth win of the season, third at Fonda Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series Elite win of the season. For the 40 year old Friesen it was their eighty-ninth win putting him first on the Fonda Speedway win list since 1996. Finishing 0.3490 seconds behind in second was Matt Sheppard. This was Matt's forty-seventh Top 5 of the season, third at Fonda Speedway this year, and third Short Track Super Series Elite Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Tyler Dippel, their first top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Mat Williamson, their forty-eighth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Tim Fuller, their twenty-fifth top 5 of the year. Anthony Perrego, Jessica Friesen, Matt DeLorenzo, Brian Calabrese, and Danny Bouc rounded out the top 10.
