Michael Maresca grabs Thunder on the Thruway checkers at Fonda Speedway

Michael Maresca won the 34 lap Thunder on the Thruway Lou Lazzaro Memorial at the Fonda Speedway on Saturday. This was Michael's first win of the season. Michael's last win came on Oct 21, 2023, six starts ago. For the 28 year old Maresca it was their third win putting him twenty-sixth on the Fonda Speedway win list since 1996.
Finishing 0.7130 seconds behind in second was Alex Yankowski. This was Alex's sixth Top 5 of the season, first at Fonda Speedway this year, and first Thunder on the Thruway Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Chris Curtis, their first top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Jack Lehner, their second top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Ryan Odasz, their first top 5 of the year.
Brian Calabrese, Roger Henion Jr., Daniel Morgiewicz Jr., Tucker O'Connor, and Darwin Greene rounded out the top 10.
